The incident occurred in Lwówek Śląski on Tuesday, November 26. The 28-year-old man from Bolesławiec arrived in the afternoon at the parking lot near the crags known as “Lwówek Switzerland.” As he climbed to the top, the man behaved naturally and attracted no one’s attention. Witnesses say they did not see the man jump. They only heard the sound of a body hitting the ground. The emergency services resuscitated the man for a long time. Unfortunately, he died.
The preliminary actions carried out by police did not provide a clear answer as to whether the man jumped himself. This will only be known after the autopsy and analysis of all traces secured at the scene.
The Lwówek police spokesperson does not confirm information circulating online that officers found letters on the deceased man’s computer indicating that he had suffered from unrequited love.

As the police spokesperson informed us, everything indicates that the man died by suicide.
