Last week, Forum cinema hosted Screenings of Polish Children’s Cinema as part of the projects Polish Children’s Cinema and Bolek and Lolek Set Off Across Poland. The project was organized by the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre-International Ceramics Centre and the Polish Filmmakers Association (SFP).
To mark Bolek and Lolek’s 50th anniversary, BOK-MCC and SFP prepared five free film screenings for the residents of Bolesławiec, showing several dozen short films and one feature film. The program also included art workshops, competitions and a quiz about Polish animation.
The Polish Children’s Cinema program was created by the Polish Filmmakers Association with young audiences in mind. It is an invitation to actively participate in film culture and spend free time at the cinema. It promotes Polish cinema for children and young people in Poland and around the world.
