Starting Saturday, November 16, Szklarska Poręba will once again be accessible by train. The Jelenia Góra–Szklarska Poręba section has been undergoing railway line modernization for a year. The investment costs PLN 34 million, of which more than PLN 21 million comes from the Regional Operational Programme for the Lower Silesian Voivodeship for 2007–2013.
On November 16, the Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship invites everyone to a free promotional journey—from Jelenia Góra to Szklarska Poręba Górna and back—on a 31 WE Impuls electric multiple unit. Lower Silesian Deputy Marshal Jerzy Łużniak will take part in the journey.
