The film “Metallica Through The Never” is a major cinematic surprise for all Metallica fans. It combines a concert with a narrative. The narrative scenes alternate with concert footage that the band shot for the film and that has never been shown before.
During Metallica’s spectacularly staged concert, Trip, a young member of the concert crew (played by Dane DeHaan), is tasked with retrieving an extremely important package. What appears to be a routine assignment turns into a dangerous, surreal odyssey, with Metallica providing the musical accompaniment. To deliver the package to Metallica, Trip, relying solely on himself, crosses the deserted streets of a dangerous city.
