The initiative launched by the President of the Republic of Poland Bronisław Komorowski was also joined by students of Municipal School Complex No. 1 in Bolesławiec. The audience particularly warmly received the recitation of excerpts from “Revenge,” Aleksander Fredro’s most famous comedy, to the rhythm of... hip-hop.
The fables written by the outstanding comedy writer were also very well received, as were excerpts from the memoir “Three by Three,” devoted to the Napoleonic Wars, in which the writer took part.
Moreover, the school corridor was decorated with pastel compositions inspired by Fredro’s works. There was also a knowledge competition about the comedy writer’s life and work.
