Recruitment is underway for the studios of the Bolesławiec Cultural Center-International Ceramics Center. The last available places are waiting for you. Applications are accepted by the Tourist and Cultural Information Point (tel. 75 645 32 90). All classes are free of charge!
For children aged 4 and over, BOK-MCC invites you to aerobics with elements of rhythmic movement – a combination of fun and learning; the classes develop a sense of rhythm, a passion for dance and musicality. Children aged 6 and over and young people aged 12 and over are invited by the Center to join the “Bolesławiec” Song and Dance Ensemble – there you will learn folk dances and have the opportunity to perform in eye-catching costumes. The instructor of both groups is Agnieszka Podłaszczyk.
Musically gifted young people can join:
- the vocal studio, run by Barbara Lendzian, where you will learn professional singing in various musical genres and styles (classes for ages 13 and over)
- the song studio, run by Agata Pińczuk-Burdzy, where you will develop your passion and gain stage experience (classes for ages 15 and over)
- the “Poeticon” Sung Poetry Ensemble, run by Ania Frączkiewicz, where you will work on original arrangements of well-known Polish and foreign songs. The ensemble performs regularly and has a loyal group of fans (ages 15 and over).
If you are over 13 and interested in film technology, come to the film education studio, run by Michał Szwed. As part of the classes, you will have the chance to explore filmmaking from various perspectives – as a director, cinematographer or sound engineer.
Adults are invited to the glass and stained-glass studio, run by Magdalena Konieczna, where you will learn to paint on glass and discover the batik and Tiffany techniques. In the studio run by Mateusz Grobelny, you will meet a renowned ceramic artist who will introduce you to pottery and ceramic sculpture techniques. In the weaving studio, from its instructor Teresa Olszewska-Bancewicz, who developed her own artistic textile technique based on many years of experience, you will learn to create works from industrial textile waste.
There are no age restrictions for classes at the guitar studio and the “Carmen” flamenco dance studio (the latter is for women only).
