Alongside free events during the Ceramics Festival, the city offers a wide range of paid workshops and classes at the Museum of Ceramics. The prices of these activities range from PLN 15 per person for workshops to PLN 5 per person for the "Meetings with History" classes. A guided city tour costs PLN 8 per person, but this offer requires advance booking. A regular combined ticket to the Museum of Ceramics and the Centre of Old Pottery Techniques costs PLN 25 per person. People with the Bolesławiec Resident Card pay less.

Centre of Old Pottery Techniques

The former Museum premises on Kutuzowa Street host the largest number of paid ceramic workshops. The offer is varied, although all the classes revolve around one subject – clay.

The “Decorator / Sculptor / Potter” workshops are a paid option for adults who want to try their hand at real craftsmanship. Depending on the chosen profile, participants can learn to decorate products, create shapes on a wheel or work with plastic forms. This is the most “serious” item in the offer, but the lack of information about the difficulty level leaves open the question of whether beginners will manage.

Manual classes for people with disabilities are a valuable and important addition to the offer – they show that the museum is trying to be accessible to everyone. However, these classes must also be paid for.

Workshops for children and young people and for seniors complete the picture of paid activities – almost every age group will find something for itself, if it can afford it. This is a well-thought-out structure.

The Museum on Zgorzelecka Street offers many activities, from guided walks around Bolesławiec to practical classes.

A guided city tour is a must for tourists – a good way to get oriented in the city and learn about its history. The price is particularly important here, as such services can significantly affect a trip’s budget.

At the former pharmacy – workshops on making scented sachets from herbs. A pleasant, relaxing activity that will appeal to both children and adults. This is one of those activities after which participants leave with a concrete souvenir made by their own hands.

“A Souvenir from Bolesławiec” involves making your own pin badge – the cheapest and most “souvenir-like” of all the workshops. Ideal for quickly commemorating a visit.
