The incident occurred on August 29 near the intersection of Modłowa and Przemysłowa streets in Bolesławiec. At approximately 1:55 p.m., a man riding a motorcycle from the direction of Kraśnik lost control of his vehicle while overtaking and collided with a tractor standing on the roadside of Modłowa Street.
The motorcyclist died at the scene. He was a police officer, but he was off duty at the time of the accident. The prosecutor’s office is investigating the causes of the tragedy.
