The first film to be screened will be Bodo Kox’s “The Girl from the Wardrobe”, hailed by critics as the best Polish debut in recent years.

The next film is “Trance”, a sophisticated thriller directed by Oscar-winning Danny Boyle, one of the most interesting filmmakers in contemporary cinema. The third film is “18 Meals”, the quintessence of what is best in Spanish cinema. A multitude of fascinating characters whose stories intertwine into one bittersweet tale. In addition, there is the brilliant acting and the beautiful presentation of the pilgrimage city of Santiago de Compostela.

On the last Monday of August, we will present the war drama “Lore”. It is an adaptation of Rachel Seiffert’s award-winning novel “The Dark Room”. The film, which courageously and maturely confronts the history of the 20th century, won the Audience Award at the Locarno Festival.

The detailed programme is available on the Forum cinema website. The weekly meetings are co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.
