Officers of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters, as a result of the actions undertaken, identified two men suspected of beating a young man. The incident took place on 23 June in Bolesławiec. According to the victim’s account, he was attacked in the late afternoon while returning from the railway station with his girlfriend. The victim was punched in the face for no reason by one man. Then another man began punching him in the head.

The victim shielded himself with the luggage he was carrying, but at one point he lost his balance and fell. The attackers then stopped assaulting him. As a result of a series of operational activities, police officers identified and detained the perpetrators of the incident. The attackers turned out to be residents of Bolesławiec, aged 20 and 26. One of the suspects admitted to the alleged offence and explained that he had consumed a significant amount of alcohol before the incident.

Beating someone is punishable by up to three years in prison.
