June 6 was an exceptional day for the Primary School in Kruszyn. The school hosted an audit committee comprising: Halina Nawrotek from the Lower Silesian Center for Supporting Talents, Mariola Kolan from the Lower Silesian Board of Education in Wrocław, DCWU consultant Paweł Nowak and DKO inspector Marek Sieczko. Among others, the committee met with the director of the Primary School in Kruszyn, Dariusz Kunaszko, and the leader of the School Team for Supporting Talents, Marzanna Gal.
That day, the pupils of the Kruszyn primary school presented a small selection of their skills. Among the invited guests were, among others, Gmina Bolesławiec head Andrzej Dutkowski, director of the Municipal School Services Office Barbara Majecka, Gmina Bolesławiec councillor Grażyna Łucka, Kruszyn village head Henryk Ostrowski and Parents’ Council chair Katarzyna Rzepka.
After the presentation, DCWU chair Halina Nawrotek announced the audit result. The Primary School in Kruszyn achieved a double success. In October 2013, the school will receive the prestigious Certificate of a School Supporting Talents. Moreover, the school’s achievements and the work of its teachers, pupils and their parents were recognised. The primary school received the maximum score—100 points—and is one of four Lower Silesian schools able to boast this result.
“It is worth emphasising that the Primary School in Kruszyn is the first school in Gmina Wiejska Bolesławiec and the second in Bolesławiec County to successfully join the Lower Silesian Network of Schools Supporting Talents,” says director Dariusz Kunaszko. “On behalf of the school community, I would like to sincerely thank everyone who contributed to this tangible success.”
