Eleven teams from Bolesławiec and the surrounding area took part in Friday’s tournament. Matches were played on two pitches in a round-robin format. Diplomas and prizes awaited the winners. In the girls’ final standings, first place was won by Bader, whose squad consisted of: Judyta Pfeiffer, Marlena Ruszat, Małgorzata Dębińska, Agnieszka Lasota and Karolina Galant. Majster finished second.
In the primary schools – boys’ category, AKS won with the following squad: Robert Walkowiak, Rafał Karolkiewicz, Krystian Ogoniak, Przemysław Wuzberg, Mateusz Tarczyński, Dawid Studnik, Wojciech Nitecki and Adrian Brom. Bajer Monachium finished second, while Real Kruszyn came third.
In the lower secondary schools – boys’ category, first place went to BKS Bolesławiec, whose squad consisted of: Piotr Bryłkowski, Tadeusz Bryłkowski, Sebastian Foltyn, Hubert Łukaszewicz, Wojciech Małek, Jakub Zawada, Aleksander Molenda and Jacek Dąbrowski. Baxy and Atomówki took the following places.
The tournament also saw the selection of the best players. Karolina Cisińska won among the girls, while Damian Gołąb was named the best boy.
The tournament was organised by the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre.
