A minor gas explosion occurred on April 10 (at approximately 7:10 a.m.) in an apartment on Daszyńskiego Street in Bolesławiec. As a result of the explosion, one windowpane was blown out. Fortunately, the 73-year-old man suffered only minor injuries to his hand. The man was sober. He was taken to hospital.
An expert is determining the cause of the incident. It is known, however, that the gas supply to the apartment had been cut off. It is likely that the 73-year-old was using it illegally.
