Police officers from Bolesławiec and Nowogrodziec detained a 30-year-old man suspected of breaking into service and catering establishments in Nowogrodziec municipality and Lwówek County (from November last year to March this year). The man stole, among other things, a cash register, monitors, a printer, as well as alcohol and cigarettes. The losses were estimated at PLN 12,000.
During a search of the suspect’s apartment, officers found, among other things, stolen computer equipment. The 30-year-old hid some of the loot... in a washing machine.
Investigators proved that the detainee had committed a total of 10 burglaries. They are now determining whether the suspect may have committed more offenses of this type. The resident of Nowogrodziec municipality faces up to 10 years in prison.
