Shortly after the morning incident, the police received another report that another man was climbing onto the cross. The officers responded quickly. When the man realized that the police were already on their way, he climbed down from the cross and began to flee. Fortunately, the police caught up with him and checked his identity. It turned out that he was a 37-year-old man wanted to serve a sentence of seven months in prison.
The man was intoxicated. He admitted to the officers that he wanted to climb onto the cross because he had made a bet with his friends.
