Officers from Kruszyna arrested a 30-year-old resident of Żary who came to our county solely to steal fuel. The man filled up at fuel stations and then drove away without paying.
Before he was caught, he had managed to steal 200 litres of fuel worth more than PLN 1,100. The 30-year-old, who had already been convicted of similar offences, admitted his guilt. He now faces up to five years in prison.
