On the occasion of Grandparents’ Day, a special concert was held on 20 January in Ocice (Bolesławiec Commune). The first item on the programme was a nativity play performed by preschoolers (Miłosza Rojka, Milenki Karaban, Martyny Zwolennik, Zuzi Karaban, Natalii Karaban, Milenki Purpur, Emila Potockiego, Wiktora Mrozika, Daniela Pielichatego, Klaudii Piróg, Filipa Golczyka, Olka Niezgody, Arka Skrzypacza, Adriana Krzeszowca and Mai Karaban). The young actors are supervised by Halina Skonieczna.
Next, the duo Eliza Sondaj and Wiktoria Kozinoga performed for the audience. The vocalists sang the most beautiful pastorale carols, including “Znak pokoju”. Folk music enthusiasts also had no reason to complain. That day, the following performed: the Ocice Singing Ensemble and the “Jutrzenka” Commune Song and Dance Ensemble.
The concert ended with a wafer-sharing gathering. The event was organised by the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec, based in Kruszyna.
