The incident occurred on January 22. The caregiver of two elderly women (residents of Bolesławiec), concerned that her charges had not opened the door for her, notified the municipal police duty officer. The patrol immediately went to the scene. Because there was a threat to life, the officers called firefighters, who forced open the door to the apartment.
It turned out that an unconscious woman was lying in one of the rooms (her 92-year-old mother was conscious, but due to her age and health condition, she did not know what was happening to her daughter).
The officers called an ambulance, which took the unconscious woman to hospital. An employee of the Municipal Social Welfare Center remained in the apartment with the 92-year-old until her son arrived.
