An off-duty police officer spotted two men grappling with each other on one of the streets of Bolesławiec. It turned out that one of them—a 19-year-old resident of Bolesławiec—had climbed onto a car’s hood and started jumping on it to show off in front of his friends. The vehicle’s owner was inside at the time.
The driver got out of the vehicle and tried to catch the vandal, but the man broke free and attempted to escape. The police officer then came to the victim’s aid and subdued the 19-year-old.
The officer called for a patrol. The teenager was drunk, with two per mille of alcohol in his system. The damage was estimated at approximately PLN 800. The vandal faces up to five years in prison.
