In November this year, the Major Henryk Sucharski Complex of General and Vocational Schools in Bolesławiec received additional equipment worth approximately PLN 600,000 and is currently the best-equipped school in the region. What is more, the institution now has the opportunity to obtain the status of an examination centre in all the vocational fields it teaches.

The following laboratories were equipped:

  • restaurant
  • hotel reception
  • hotel room
  • tourist services
  • catering technology
  • general teaching laboratory for vocational education
  • language laboratory.

The school received new equipment as part of the “Modernisation of Vocational Education in Lower Silesia” project, implemented under the Regional Operational Programme for the Lower Silesian Voivodeship for 2007–2013, Priority 7, “Expansion and modernisation of educational infrastructure in Lower Silesia,” Measure 7.2, “Development of the infrastructure of educational institutions.”

Earlier—in 2010–2011—the ZSOiZ laboratories underwent a major renovation. The investment cost PLN 300,000. The task was financed from funds of the Bolesławiec District.
