Bolesławiec County has acquired a modern special-purpose vehicle—a self-propelled tracked backhoe loader together with additional equipment and a trailer for transporting it. The equipment, worth PLN 219,063, was purchased under the Population Protection and Civil Defence Programme for 2025–2026.
The new machine is intended for tasks related to population protection and civil defence. It can be used, among other things, to remove the effects of incidents, secure sites, carry out earthworks and in situations requiring the rapid deployment of specialist equipment.
The backhoe loader is equipped with a full operator’s cab, an extendable undercarriage and a set of interchangeable buckets for various types of work. Thanks to its additional equipment—a hydraulic auger and hydraulic breaker—the machine can be used for a wide range of technical and safety-related tasks.
As part of the purchase, the County also received a two-axle trailer adapted for transporting the backhoe loader and its equipment.
The purchase of the new equipment will enhance Bolesławiec County’s capacity to respond to crisis situations and carry out tasks related to population protection. The versatile machine will enable more efficient work, including removing the effects of incidents, securing infrastructure and sites, and carrying out other activities requiring heavy equipment.
The purchase was financed under the Population Protection and Civil Defence Programme for 2025–2026.
