The Bolesławiec County, II Liceum Ogólnokształcące named after Janusz Korczak and the Stanisław Wyspiański Youth Cultural Centre invite you to the premiere of another production by Błażej Biegasiewicz and Teatr Dwunastu Rzędów “On Leaving Established Spaces”. The performance will take place on Friday, November 23, at the Old Theatre in Bolesławiec. It begins at 6:00 p.m.. Admission is free.
This is the second play written and directed by Błażej, a student of II LO. His previous production, entitled “Insomnia”, could be seen on the stage of the Old Theatre in the spring of this year. “We began work on the next production in August,” the director says. “We are still working in the same line-up. And we all agree that over the past year we have done a great job. Our second performance will certainly be more dynamic and professional.”
The play “On Leaving Established Spaces” features four actors: Natalia Mojsa, Jarosław Kojder, Jakub Zieliński and Marcin Gałan. Teatr Dwunastu Rzędów—the group’s name refers to the legendary theatre of Jerzy Grotowski, whom Błażej considers his master—will present the life of an everyman to the audience in the form of a collage. “Older viewers may treat this performance as a kind of retrospection, while younger ones may see it as a preview of what may soon come,” says the play’s author.
