From May to August, teachers will receive an additional PLN 208 gross in their increased incentive allowance. In total, the county office will allocate more than PLN 90,000 for this purpose. “We treated work related to the matura exams as additional work, for which teachers are entitled to payment,” says Deputy Starosta Cezary Przybylski. The money for the increased incentive allowance will come from the county office’s budget.
According to the Ministry of Education and Sport, teachers are demanding money to which they are not entitled. Teachers from Lower Silesian Voivodeship have announced that they will take the matter to court.
