The athletics championships were held on 30 May in Wrocław. Middle schools from the Lower Silesian Voivodeship competed in the event. Both the girls’ and boys’ teams from Gimnazjum Samorządowe nr 2 in Bolesławiec took second place in the team competition.

Among the girls, the following athletes won individual medals at the Lower Silesian Championships:

  • First place in the 300 m race: Ewa Ochocka – 41.75 s
  • Second place, 4 × 100 m relay team: Ewa Ochocka, Eryka Baran, Katarzyna Kołodyńska, Martyna Pawlik
  • Second place in the discus throw: Monika Sandak – 36.21 m
  • Third place: Karolina Wolska in the 600 m – 1:48.58 s
  • Also taking third place were: Anita Kowalik – long jump, Katarzyna Kołodyńska – 100 m, Honorata Polak – 100 m, Eryka Baran – 100 m hurdles, Patrycja Gałkus – shot put, Michaela Niedzwiecka – shot put, Patrycja Heryng – 300 m hurdles, Liliana Członka – high jump, Sylwia Zembrzuska – 1,000 m, Klaudia Kociołek – 300 m. The girls’ team was coached by Karolina Smutek

The individual medalists among the boys were:

  • First place: Kacper Olszewski – discus throw – 52.20 m
  • First place: Robert Polański – 300 m hurdles – 41.64 s
  • Second place: Damian Gradzik Damian – discus throw – 44.23 m
  • Third place: Wojciech Turek – discus throw – 35.03 m
  • Also: Wojciech Karaban – 1,000 m, Marcin Liana – shot put, Dawid Braszko – shot put, Patryk Kuryło – 110 m hurdles, Przemysław Ziembikiewicz – 100 m, Piotr Kraus – javelin throw, Marcel Wojdygo – discus throw, Maciej Mocny – 300 m hurdles, Jakub Nenkin – 300 m hurdles, Dawid Bis – discus throw, Eryk Reliszka – long jump, Szymon Gogulski – 100 m. The boys’ team was coached by Tomasz Markowski
