On 4 May, criminal investigators from the Bolesławiec police station arrested a young man suspected of damaging a shutter at one of the commercial pavilions in Bolesławiec. The 21-year-old resident of Bolesławiec destroyed the shutter on 14 April. Police findings indicate that the man damaged the window covering while returning from a nightclub. The suspect kicked and struck the shutter for no reason, damaging it. Through his actions, the vandal caused losses valued at PLN 1,300. The offense of damaging property is punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
