The training camp for students of the military classes at the School Complex in Lubomierz, held from 16 to 20 April, launched a series of training sessions called “Commando Field Exercise”. At the turn of April and May, students from military-profile classes in Bolesławiec County and neighboring counties will acquire tactical skills and learn elements of drill, first-aid and firearms training, as well as high-altitude climbing.

The training is organized by the Association of Former Soldiers of the 62nd Special Commando Company in cooperation with the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment. The Bolesławiec artillerymen and former commandos have been sharing their experience with young people for many years and introducing them to the essentials of a soldier’s profession.

This year’s military maneuvers will include, among others, students of the Ignacy Domeyko School Complex of Electronics in Bolesławiec.
