Runners competed over four distances: 300, 600 and 900 metres, and 10 kilometres. Streets in the city centre were chosen as the race routes. The start and finish were located in the market square.
Dariusz Kruczkowski, representing Zawisza Bydgoszcz, performed best in the longest-distance race. He completed the 10-kilometre route in 30 minutes and 22 seconds. The second-best time was recorded by Igor Zavoronok, representing Belarus. His time was 30 minutes and 46 seconds. Adam Draczyński, representing WKS Oleśniczanka, was the third-fastest competitor in the race. He completed the 10 kilometres in 31 minutes and 17 seconds.
Competitors from Bolesławiec performed very well in the 300-, 600- and 900-metre races. Kamil Rościszewski from Bolesławiec completed the 300-metre distance fastest. His time was 1 minute and 1 second. Karolina Olszewska from Bolesławiec crossed the finish line second. Her result was just 4 seconds slower than Kamil’s. Dawid Juszczyk crossed the finish line third. The Bolesławiec competitor’s time was 1 minute and 7 seconds.
Katarzyna Jankowska was the fastest over 600 metres. Her time was 1 minute and 54 seconds. Radosław Weneny was 2 seconds slower. Paulina Olszowy completed the 600-metre distance with the third-best time. Her result was 1 minute and 56 seconds. All three competitors mentioned above were from Bolesławiec.
Patryk Dudyński from Bolesławiec completed the 900-metre distance fastest. His result was 2 minutes and 38 seconds. Michał Zając of Atleta Rząsiny was just one second slower. Grzegorz Makarewicz from Świętoszów recorded the third-best time. His time was 2 minutes and 42 seconds.
The races were co-financed by the European Union, and the organiser was the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre in Bolesławiec.
