The incident took place on March 27. Police officers from Bolesławiec were called to the railway track on the Wrocław-Węgliniec route. It turned out that four young people (two boys and two girls aged 16 to 18) had been drinking alcohol there. At one point, they decided to arrange a challenge—the boys stood on the tracks as a train was approaching. The teenager jumped away at the last moment. His recklessness forced the driver to brake sharply and stop the train.
The young people will now face charges for an offense.
