One of the most important cross-country events in Lower Silesia is now behind us. On Saturday, 17 March, the Lower Silesian Championships – PZLA Grand Prix were held on the cross-country courses in Lwówek. 300 runners from Lubusz and Lower Silesian Voivodeships took part in the competition.

The MKS Bolesłavia athletes did not disappoint. Aleksandra Wołoszyn, coached by Małgorzata Markowska, won a bronze medal in the girls' 2002–2001 race.

In the boys' 2000–1999 category, Tobiasz Burzyński was unbeatable. He won the title of Lower Silesian champion, defeating as many as 38 competitors. The young Bolesłavia athlete is coached by Bartosz Gruman.

Also close to the podium was Dominika Kamińska. She finished fifth in the younger junior girls' category. Also in the top ten were: Wojciech Karaban (eighth in the boys' 1998–1997 category) and Kamil Skiba (tenth in the boys' 2002–2001 category).
