Guests were invited to Molière’s play by the starost Cezary Przybylski and Jacek Głomb, director of the Helena Modrzejewska Theatre. After the performance, the guests congratulated the starost. A promotional film about the theatre’s renovation was shown, and gifts were presented to the entrepreneurs and companies supporting the building’s restoration.
Among the invited guests were representatives of the armed forces and clergy, entrepreneurs, Minister of National Education Krystyna Szumilas, Deputy Minister of National Education Joanna Berdzik, Vice-President of the European Parliament Jacek Protasiewicz, Senator Jan Michalski, Members of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland – Małgorzata Szmajdzińska, Zofia Czernow, Robert Kropiwnicki, Lower Silesian Voivode Marek Skorupa and Deputy Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Jerzy Łużniak.
All guests were invited to a banquet and a piece of cake specially prepared for the gala. Residents will have two more performances organized as part of the theatre’s opening. On Sunday, a theatre from Wrocław will perform (tickets have already been distributed), while on Tuesday the Theatre Marathon will take place, with free admission.
