The theft took place in the apartment of the youngest perpetrator. The 16-year-old, together with his friend, a 17-year-old resident of Bolesławiec, decided to steal equipment belonging to his own mother. The suspects stole, among other things, two laptops, a game console and a car satellite television receiver set, worth almost PLN 8,000 in total.
Both thieves were detained. Officers found most of the stolen equipment in the 17-year-old’s apartment. What is more, a 19-year-old suspected of fencing stolen goods was also apprehended by the police.
The two older detainees face up to 5 years in prison, while the 16-year-old will answer for his actions before a family court.
