Project Volodia with Mirosław Baka, a concert of Vladimir Vysotsky’s works, is the idea of Janusz Kasprowicz – bassist of the Wrocław group “Przyjaciele Stefana” and an admirer of the Russian bard’s work.
Kasprowicz invited musicians who play blues, rock, flamenco and jazz on a daily basis to collaborate. This stylistic mixture resulted in remarkably original and fresh arrangements of Vysotsky’s songs. Mirosław Baka, an excellent film and theatre actor and a master of the acting interpretation of songs, will also sing as part of the project.
