Nearly 60 students took the old matura exam at the Zespół Szkół Budowlanych. At Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących nr 1, 40 people took the old matura exam. There were 30 matura candidates at Zespół Szkół Handlowych i Usługowych and nearly 90 at Zespół Szkół Mechanicznych.
As traditionally, in the written Polish language exam, students could choose one of four topics. Many opted for the topic devoted to the pope. As it turned out, the first topic concerned the theme of youth in literature and art, while the second concerned humanity, which was to be found in past historical periods. Students could also choose to analyse two poems. Another option was to work on a text by Leszek Kołakowski and Maria Osowska.
Tomorrow, students will take the exam in a second subject of their choice. After that, only the oral exams will remain.
