Under the law, every package—including the cheapest one, costing PLN 5—should contain seven channels: TVP1, TVP2, TVP Wrocław, Polsat, TVN, TV4 and TV Puls. The Bolesławiec cable package costing PLN 5 is missing three of them: TVN, TV4 and TV Puls.
The National Broadcasting Council confirmed that these channels should be included in the Bolesławiec cable package. “The channels listed should be available in every package offered by the operator. If the operator does not comply with the law, KRRiT may call on it to submit explanations in this matter,” says Katarzyna Twardowska, press spokesperson for KRRiT.
Yesterday, we asked the Bolesławiec cable television company for comment. We were referred to Jelenia Góra, to the company’s headquarters. We sent an official inquiry. As of today, we have received no response.
The law requiring the transmission of the channels listed above came into force in August this year.
