The incident took place on Wednesday, December 7, in Bolesławiec. At around 4:00 p.m., a young hooded man got into a taxi standing near the PKS station. He told the taxi driver that he wanted to go to Dobra (Bolesławiec Rural Municipality). When the two men arrived, the passenger pulled out a sharp object. A scuffle ensued, as a result of which the taxi driver suffered a minor hand injury. The attacker fled, and the injured man notified the police.
Measures to establish the perpetrator’s identity are ongoing. He faces up to five years’ imprisonment.
