The incident occurred in one of the localities in Warta Bolesławiecka municipality. A 45-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County attacked a woman. He grabbed her handbag and tried to pull it away. At first, the victim tried to defend herself. However, when the man threatened to beat her, she handed over the handbag.
The case was handled by police officers from the station in Kruszyn. Just 30 minutes after the robbery was reported, the 45-year-old was in the hands of the officers. The man was taken into police custody. The officers also recovered the stolen handbag.
The attacker now faces up to 12 years in prison.
