The Swimming Marathon is behind us. It was held at the Bolesławiec „Orka” Water Park. Sixty swimmers took part. They competed in freestyle over a distance of 1,000 metres.

The top scorers in the individual categories were:

  • Joanna Ośko and Hubert Parzyński – in the under-9 category
  • Agata Knapik and Kacper Grela – in the 10–11 age category
  • Oliwia Zając and Jonasz Szkirpan – in the 12–15 age category
  • Magdalena Kurzyńska and Kordian Różnicki – in the 16–29 age category
  • Marta Satoła and Fryderyk Popieliński – in the 30–49 age category
  • Grażyna Grzegorzewska and Henryk Kopaniecki – in the 50-and-over category

The competition, held as part of the 2011 Open Bolesławiec Championships, was organized by Klub Pływacki Masters and Miejski Ośrodek Sportu i Rekreacji.
