On Thursday, 20 October, Nowogrodziec police detained two men (a 19-year-old resident of Lubań Municipality and a 24-year-old resident of Nowogrodziec Municipality) suspected of stealing fuel from a truck. Both were placed in police custody.
Officers proved that the detainees had committed four further fuel thefts in Bolesławiec County in September and October of this year. One of the suspects had previously been convicted of similar offenses. Both men now face up to five years in prison.
