There is no trace of the pipes left
Changes on Wróblewski Street in Bolesławiec have entered another stage. The distinctive heating infrastructure, which previously ran above ground, has been completely removed. The site was cleaned up after the work was completed.

This is the conclusion of measures announced earlier. In the pages of istotne.pl we regularly reported on the progress of work related to removing the pipes.
What will be built here?
Removing the pipes creates an opportunity to use this space in a different way. The subject was already discussed during the April session of the Bolesławiec City Council, when Mayor Piotr Roman spoke about plans to remove the above-ground infrastructure and the future development of the area.
A green area was among the ideas under consideration. Animal figures and the possibility of bringing back the distinctive elephants associated with Bolesławiec for years were also mentioned. Ultimately, however, the elephants were placed on Jeleniogórska Street.
Will the space be transformed into a green area, or will another idea for its use emerge? This question remains open.
