Importantly, no leaks were detected during the tests, either in the heating network sections or in the fittings. This made it possible to complete the entire process efficiently and restore hot-water supplies more quickly.
What did this mean?
The next phase of the investment. The not particularly attractive above-ground heating pipes on Wróblewski Street have disappeared.
The removal of the pipes on Wróblewski Street had already been announced. During the April session of the Bolesławiec City Council, Mayor Piotr Roman spoke about plans to remove the above-ground infrastructure and the possibility of redeveloping the recovered space.
One of the ideas put forward was to create a green area there. Proposals included, among other things, installing animal figures. The return of the distinctive elephants, which had been one of Bolesławiec’s symbols for years, was even announced. However, they were ultimately installed on Jeleniogórska Street.
What will happen next to the site on Wróblewski Street? Time will tell. We will return to the subject.
