On Wednesday, October 5, the Bolesławiec police conducted the “Speed” operation, whose aim is to improve road safety in the city and county. Officers issued 65 fines for exceeding the permitted speed limit.
The police remind drivers: excessive speed is one of the most common causes of road accidents, while seat belts are the most effective way to ensure safety while driving. Half of the fatalities in road accidents could be alive if they had been wearing seat belts at the time of the collision.
