On 21 September, the Bolesławiec City Hall accepted the completed investment, carried out under a “design and build” contract. As part of the project, Sokola Street, approximately 877 metres long, and an approximately 70-metre section of Miłorzębowa Street were built.

The scope of work extended beyond the road construction itself. A stormwater drainage system, water supply and sanitary sewer networks, as well as street lighting, were also installed.

A new route for pedestrians and cyclists

As part of the investment, a 3-metre pedestrian and cycle path was built. New streetlights are intended to improve safety after dark.

Thirty-three LED streetlights and eight additional lights at pedestrian crossings were installed.

The investment also included the construction of a substantial part of the underground infrastructure. Among other works, 774.6 metres of stormwater drainage channels were built.

More Than PLN 5.5 Million for the Investment

The value of the completed investment was PLN 5,504,378. The contractor was ZIB ELTOR from Lubań.

The construction is part of a larger programme concerning the development of municipal roads in Bolesławiec.

Its aim is to connect areas designated for residential and service functions.
