– Every day at around 5:00 a.m., I take my dog out for a morning walk. Until last week, the lights in the village were still on at that time, although they were switched off every day with a slight delay – at 5:00, 5:05, 5:10, and so on – she describes.
As she adds, this week Rakowice is already completely dark at that time.
– It is pitch-dark. This is a major inconvenience and creates a danger for traffic, considering that 99.9% of the roads in Rakowice have no pavement – the reader points out.
The problem is particularly significant for pedestrians using roads which, as the reader describes them, are narrow and winding. Part of the route also runs alongside an embankment.
– The only section of illuminated road, that missing 0.01%, naturally has a pavement and is located by the school, which is closed at 5:00 a.m. for obvious reasons – she adds.
