Residents of Bolesławiec must prepare for an interruption in the supply of heating and domestic hot water. Zakład Energetyki Cieplnej has announced that the disruption will be related to modernization work on the heating network at ul. Wróblewskiego.
The interruption in the supply of heating and hot water will begin on September 6, 2026, at 8:00 a.m.. According to ZEC's announcement, it will last until September 16, until midnight.
The reason is work related to the modernization of the heating network. As the company explains, the work includes dismantling the overhead network and the need to connect the heating supply to the temporary network being constructed.
The start date of the work is not accidental. ZEC explains that it results from a decision by ornithological and chiropterological supervisors, who only from August 19, 2026 permitted the unrestricted dismantling of the overhead network.
At the same time, the company points out that the approaching heating season makes completing the planned work urgent. The work is therefore to be carried out before the start of the heating season.
ZEC assures residents that it will make every effort to shorten the period of the interruption in the supply of heating. The company apologizes to residents for the inconvenience and disruption related to the work being carried out.
