On 21 August, police intervened in the Bolesławiec commune. Officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn detained a 44-year-old man suspected of using psychological and physical violence against his father.
Police findings indicate that the aggressive behavior toward the senior had allegedly continued from 2024 until August 2026. The man allegedly started arguments during which he insulted his father and threatened to kill him.
The situation escalated on the day of the arrest. The 44-year-old allegedly also used physical violence against his father; he pushed and hit him.
Police detained the suspect and then applied for an isolating preventive measure. The prosecutor supported the request.
The court ordered the 44-year-old to be held in temporary custody for three months. The resident of Bolesławiec County now faces up to five years in prison.
