The changes are to take effect on Monday, 10 August 2026. Hospital employees received an announcement concerning the new parking arrangements.
According to information provided to us anonymously, barriers will be installed at the entrance to the Zespół Opieki Zdrowotnej grounds. In its announcement, the hospital itself refers to the car park there as the “VIP car park”.
Entry will be possible for employees who have assigned parking spaces and have received new, active cards.
Old cards will stop working
From Monday, all existing parking cards are to be deactivated. Other employees have been asked to leave their cars at the Manhattan car park.
This car park is located by the market in Bolesławiec. According to the announcement, parking there for hospital employees is to cost PLN 30.
The message addressed to the staff states:
“From Monday, 10 August 2026, parking for hospital employees will be available at the Manhattan car park for PLN 30.”
The message went on:
“Entry to the car park will be possible for employees with assigned parking spaces and new, active cards.”
The hospital also announced that it would provide employees with detailed information about the new parking arrangements.
Who will get a space in the “VIP car park”?
The announcement does not specify the rules for assigning spaces in the car park referred to by the hospital as VIP, how many employees will be able to use it, or whether they will have to pay for it and, if so, how much.
It is also not known who decided on this division of spaces or which positions or other criteria entitle employees to receive a new card and an assigned space.
We will ask the management of the Zespół Opieki Zdrowotnej in Bolesławiec to clarify these issues.
