A dangerous conclusion to a police check in the town of Nowa Wieś Grodziska. A 15-year-old riding a cross-type motorcycle, wanting to avoid being stopped, hit a forest ranger and a moment later crashed into a parked passenger car. Despite the collision, he still tried to flee, but was detained by a police officer.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, August 4, during a joint patrol involving a police officer from the Lwówek Śląski County Police Headquarters and officers of the Forest Guard of the Lwówek Śląski Forest District. The patrol noticed a person riding a cross-type motorcycle and decided to conduct a check.

The teenager ignored the signals to stop and attempted to flee. During a sharp maneuver, he hit a forest ranger, then lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into a stationary passenger car. Despite this, he tried to leave the scene, but the police officer effectively prevented him from continuing his escape.

The officers determined that the motorcycle was being ridden by a 15-year-old resident of Złotoryja County. Documentation concerning the entire incident will be submitted to the Family and Juvenile Court, which will decide on the consequences for the teenager.

Police remind the public that cross-type motorcycles may travel on public roads only if they meet technical requirements, are registered and insured, and the rider has the appropriate license. Officers also emphasize that attempts to flee a check and reckless driving can lead to very serious or even tragic incidents.
