There was a tragic workplace accident in Świeradów-Zdrój on Friday, July 31, before noon. Emergency services were dispatched to Leśna Street, where a man aged around 30 was injured while work was being carried out on the construction of an apartment building.
Preliminary information indicates that the worker fell from a height of approximately two metres. Rescue operations began immediately at the scene, and rescuers performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation for an extended period.
Despite intensive efforts to save the man's life, he could not be rescued. A doctor pronounced him dead.
The rescue operation involved volunteer firefighters from Świeradów-Zdrój and Pobiedna, firefighters from the State Fire Service in Lubań, and an emergency medical team from Szklarska Poręba.
Services are working at the scene to determine the exact circumstances and causes of the tragic incident. Their task will be to establish the course of the accident and all the circumstances surrounding the death of the worker aged around 30.
