An extremely dangerous incident occurred on the night from Friday to Saturday in Gryfów Śląski. A man found himself trapped beneath a heavy pallet weighing approximately 200 kilograms. He was unable to free himself, and each passing second increased the risk of tragedy.
The dramatic call was received by the duty officer at the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski via the emergency number 112. A patrol from the Police Station in Gryfów Śląski was immediately dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, the officers quickly located the injured man and jointly moved the pallet, which weighed approximately 200 kilograms, freeing him from the dangerous situation.
As the police officers emphasize, the quick response was crucial. Due to the late hour, there were no people in the area who could have helped the man. Using the last of his strength, the injured man managed to call the emergency number 112 and summon the services.
Thanks to the officers’ swift intervention, tragedy was avoided. The entire situation shows how important it is to call for help quickly in situations threatening life and health.
