The incident reportedly occurred on Thursday, at around 11:10 a.m., near the intersection of Lubańska and Karskiego Streets in Bolesławiec. As a Reader told us, screams were allegedly coming from a passing silver car:

(…) the woman in the car was shouting: “Help! Save me! Help!”.

The man notified the police. Officers confirmed that they had received such a report and intervened.

As we established, the police located the people who had been traveling in the vehicle. The problem was that both the woman and the man denied that the described situation had occurred.

At this point, there is no indication that a crime occurred or that either of the people in the car was in danger.

Although the intervention did not confirm the report, officers emphasize that anyone who hears a call for help or notices a situation that may indicate a threat to life or health should immediately notify the emergency services. Every such report is checked because a quick response from witnesses can be crucial in the event of a real danger.
